Suchitra Murali [1] (born 22 July 1975), commonly known by her stage name Suchitra, is an Indian film actress. Debuting with the 1990 film No.20 Madras Mail she has appeared mostly in Malayalam films as well as some films in Tamil and Telugu.
Suchitra did numerous films in Malayalam in the 90s mostly with heroes like Mukesh, Jagadeesh, and Siddique. Despite having just a few hit films under her credit she had large youth fan following. She also played int a handful of Tamil films. The 1991 release Gopura Vasalile, along with Karthik Muthuraman and Bhanupriya, was her most popular Tamil movie.
